UK Leaving EU June 2016

Image
The referendum soon to take place this month will decide the fate of UK on whether it will remain as an active participant and member of the European Union. There are many concerns surrounding the UK Exit from the EU because of the immediate damage it will cause to migrant workers who work in Europe and abroad, and are protected and assisted by EU law and regulation, which on exiting the EU will fade without proper EU support or backing.  UK as a member of the EU retains many employment laws for workers, protects people from crime because of the cohesion it creates, and those who benefit now could more than likely suffer from its loss. EU business and employment law assists in resolving jurisdictional contractual disputes; encouraging placement of workers; and allowing wages to be paid in domiciled places of residence, all of which help the UK economy and foreign economies. Business relations with EU countries are strongly dependent upon EU business regulations,...

Theory of Democratic Confederalism and Conflict in Middle East / Love your neighbour June 2016

Image
The theory of Democratic Confederalism may have its uses in helping and advancing the political situation in the area previously known as Kurdistan and also for the rest of the Middle East.  Confederalism however in context should refer to the surrounding patchwork between the borders of Iran, Turkey and Syria and with properly recognised political representation in all three states, which is the Democratic part.  The region on the borders between Iran, Turkey and Syria have main regions aiming to incorporate a new vision for a better and more peaceful way, in both politics and society.   The idea of intertwining a confederacy type of unification in this region is helpful when and only when it is represented in a democracy.  The lack of an unrepresented confederacy can be harmful, as it results in civil conflict due to the differences between a desirable fair representation and an undesirable unruly autonomous representation. Ideology which ...

Kurdish and Middle Eastern Progress 4 April 2016

In most recent years there has been tremendous violence towards Kurdish and Middle Eastern people, especially women.  A lot of the people who have suffered such violence are recorded statistically as Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian, or Kurdish people.  The violence   is   brutal and people have been torn away from loved ones either killed or lost during the civil unrest - innocent civilians battling sexual violence and combative violence from military or paramilitary forces.  Since the 1970s up to 2005 and even now, the region (previously known as) Kurdistan has been plagued by occupation and war-mongering.  Peace in the Kurdistan region   can be   achieved with the proper political measures [for peace] and resilience against unruly occupation. Encouraging political leaders with the attitude of restoring justice and peace, means seeking social rectitude for war crimes and penance against the atrocities which have taken place...

Sayings/Proverbs

Fortifying International Relations 29 March 2016

Applying peace-making theories for peaceful international relations is paramount to peace in the world.   Theories and policies exist but must be applied in the proper and correct fashion, and these methods are of utmost importance to sustaining peace-negotiations, treaties and relationships between countries for lasting compromise, and the understanding of the basic necessity for Peace in societies and communities across lands.  The ideologies fighting peace are scrutinised but not eradicated, and it should be at the forefront of keeping peaceful negotiations alive, by understanding the rule of law and knowing the right direction essential in global culture and religion, which is against immorality and unrepresentational law or policy. The threadbead of policy-making is the heart of public and government change.  Attitudes in the majority opinion must share ideals for peace negotiations and compromise, so the idea of justice in international relations can be at th...

In Wake of Ankara and Brussels Attacks March 2016

Thoughts, and prayers for victims and those who have suffered by the recent attacks and previous ones. May justice find you. The more we grow the idea of peace, hope and harmony - the more it will become a philosophy we experience more in our lives and will equip us to defeat large-scale violent crime better.  According to most religious doctrine - True Religion symbolises goodness and morality in the world and existing universe.   Corruption and violence exhibited through the symbols and faith of a religion like Islam is a blasphemous denunciation of Islam.  Islam, a religion which stands for an overarching emblem of goodness in humanity. Conceptualising terrorism in the picture frame of Islam or any other Religion/Race/Culture is gravely dangerous, and this misconception is extremely worrying for humanitarian efforts and peacekeeping/peacebuilding officials representing the correct movement against terrorism. Identifying why there is terrorism is important and i...
