A letter of compassion against violence in Israel August 2014

Hearts, minds, prayers and people from all over the world reach out because of the visible harm the Gaza crisis is causing innocent people. Death and suffering, violence and chaos as an answer to Israeli victimisation from Hamas, has only exacerbated the pain and suffering, and for both sides.
The chaotic cyclical effect in Gaza which has lasted decades is an example of war without justified reason. Individual lives lost is not a debt paid in more lives. Tolerance and co-operation and an eye-opening struggle for humane justice, regardless of religion or background should be at the forefront of international and civil understanding.

Differences between peoples, and separatists causing the loss of life, of innocent vulnerable devout people, is no answer. Calculation and diplomacy, and pin-pointing those groups responsible, and knowing justice will be served on them in a proper functioning judicial system will free their enslaved minds for committing wrong and promote esteem for both sides. It will advance the idea of hope, and make a new sustainable answer from the old reaction of violence which has proven to fail, time after time.

Imploring peace, and helping those who have chosen war over peace understand, because of their personal struggle and the suffering they have sustained, there is a deeper more unifying and gratifying solution which would be to prevent any more harm and pain, to others. To put a stop, to it all, so we do not live to kill, or kill to live, but live an example multiplied by millions, in agreement killing is not the better way to live or solve any conflict.

Defence against armies will always be necessary because this is the process of war, however the decision-making must be noble truths strung together for a golden truth to shine and light up the human compassion in one another, regardless of pain or suffering, so we can end war in Gaza, Middle East, and the rest of the world.

A letter of compassion.
