Today Concerns

UN General Assembly - September 2017 The last couple months have seen huge international discourse over differences, particularly relating to the way in which, individual countries are run. Countries like China, North Korea, USA and Russia have their very own independent way of leadership and even though, most of these are democratically led there has been bullish rhetoric inciting tension.  Tensions are due to economic rivalry, sanctions and inappropriate international communication relating to arms and nuclear threats.  One argument is, it is all 'Lost in Translation' and the schoolyard testimonies of political leaders need to revisit the facts of the initial political discrepancies and deal with them with proper and appropriate international formality.  The famous writer Cicero wrote, "Everything is indefinite, misty, and transient; only virtue is clear, and it cannot be destroyed by any force."  Virtue is the most potent weapon, which can never...

This Is Not A Humanising Poem.  A Poem by  Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan who was the runner up finalist this year in London for The Last Word Festival.  D epicting  how people should not have to always draw social parallels  to other people in society.   Humanity is all alike, and the concept of the poem shows this should not have to be so deeply explained. Our differences do not mean we are less part of Humanity, it just shows there are people who have different ways of living.  The poem explains how the difference in Religion and Culture is something to embrace and be proud of, and not something people have to be embarrassed about, because it is more Humanising to be proud of those differences in society than the false or weak similarities some people choose to make.

The reasoning becomes nonsensical and a person is torment...

I HAVE BEEN WRITING ON THIS BLOG FOR MORE THAN IT SAYS IT HAS BEEN FOUNDED.  I HAVE RE-FOUNDED IT, SO TO SPEAK. THE INITIAL IDEA WAS TO SPREAD MY IDEAS AND THOUGHTS ON, THE WORLD AND TO INSPIRE THE REST OF THE WORLD. REACHING OVER 10,000 HITS HAS BEEN A GREAT BLESSING FOR ME AND AN AMAZING FEAT. TO MOST SOCIAL MEDIA FRENZY PEOPLE, SUCH AN AMOUNT WOULD BE VERY SMALL FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME I'VE HAD MY BLOG, BUT ON AVERAGE IT STILL REMAINS STRONG. THE DIFFERENCE IS MY AUDIENCE, AND THE QUALITY OF MY AUDIENCE.  MY AUDIENCE SPANS ACROSS THE ENTIRE WORLD.  TODAY CONCERNS IS A GLOBAL BLOG, FOR READERS TO ASSESS, AND UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF EQUALITY, PEACE, RELIGION, TRUTH, LIGHT AND WISDOM. I VENTURE DEEPLY INTO THE IDEAS BETWEEN RELIGION AND HUMAN RIGHTS AND CULTURE IN CORRELATION TO POLITICAL AND GOVERNMENTAL CHANGES IN COUNTRIES WITH STRIFE AND OUTBREAK OF WAR. MY IDEAS AND THOUGHTS HAVE BEEN UNIQUE AND SOMETIMES PROVE COMPLETELY UNORTHODOX TO ...
